Self-acceptance

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘆?

Have you seen the Grace Kelly - Mika challenge? I enjoyed watching them with my kids, then my son asked me, "Dad, why do some friends dislike me no matter how hard I try? 😢"

Well, I have a story that will help, whether you're struggling with friendships, business relationships, or even romantic relationships:

** 𝗜'𝗺 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿.

But, I attract my own audience on social media. No matter my literary skill, or charisma, there will be many people who will not read my posts. They're just not interested in Parenting or Self-Love.

So here's the important question:

All those people who don't read my posts: Does that reduce my worth, or skill, as a writer?

No, of course not!

I'm still a good writer. They're just not my audience.

** Perhaps, we should stop trying to figure out how to make others like us. Maybe we've been hypnotized by dramas and fairy-tale cartoons that we can, through chasing and effort.

Instead, let's focus on the many people who do appreciate us, and continue to serve them sincerely.

Most importantly, I'll appreciate the one person who will never give up on me and will always be my biggest fan.
